  All natural light. Model stood facing out a large window in a warehouse. Wide open f2.8 100mm.

  The other shot is good Rossco, but this is my kind of shot … love the DoF and I always prefer natural light…

  100mm 2.8l macro?

  Yes, the new Canon 100mm f2.8 with IS.

  Lovely lens…works better as a portrait lens than a macro…again…congrats on the shot…was it for a job or portfolio?

  what a hottie! oh, wait, i’m supposed to be commenting on the photography, right? i’m a bit rusty. uhm, nice choice of model. hehe. i love how it’s well lit and eyes, yum. it’s so sharp the stray hairs in front of his eyes are distracting to start but its just one of those things.

  Hi Ross,

  This is a lovely image.
  So clear in the important places and the colours are very natural.

  I couldn’t help but wonder if a different coloured tie might have been better.
  The orange is a very bright item in the frame which attracts my attention to no advantage.
  When I scroll up to exclude the tie I find the result more pleasing.
  Just an opinion and the image is just fine as it is.
