    First attempt at light painting. Playing with fire on Mar 24th 2011 inside the roof-less Cathedral at Glendalough. The plan was a two hour star trails shoot – which failed due to the horrible red hue coming from dublin city.

    Canon 7D & Sigma 10-20mm
    338 second expsoure 10mm f/4
    Waiting on some more equipment to arrive to explore this concept further.

    Cool shot Brendan.
    Did you use an angle grinder or was it a firework? If it was an angle grinder ‘What the heck were you grinding?’ :shock:
    Looks like you used a LED torch too.
    Great effect and you have some star trails too.

    Nice shot, I think he used wire wool on fire or with a battery attached, then spun it around.
