    Beautiful birds, the last one would be my pick with maybe a little more room
    on the left, he looks a little cramped in the frame. Beautiful markings!

    Thanks for commenting everyone :) Composition is one of my weak points and learning when to leave space etc is ongoing. Once you said that Jenny it made perfect sense lol.

    That is me right now! This time last year I picked up my first DSLR and finally started to go beyond auto mode. Still have a wealth to learn but having you guys post the comments you have to these is a real boost.

    Hi Connie.
    It’s a beautiful bird & you have captured some fantastic detail in it’s plumage. #3 is my pick of these too, but as Jenny say’s, it’s a bit cramped for space. I would prefer if it’s other eye was showing too & would also try to get down slightly more & shoot from the birds eye level to get more impact. Very well done.
