Orange Tulip

Playing with some macro filters I got last week. Shot this handheld next to a window.
Any comments more than welcome.
Thats nice but it doesnt look like a tulip :lol: I think more of a rose?
anyway whats the saying “a rose by any name would smell the same”!Nice, pleasing image – easy on the eye. If I had to be critical, I’d say the edge of the petal cutting across the bottom left corner is a bit distracting. Minor though.
Just wondering how you find the close-up filters? Got a set myself recently (Marumi) and find it near impossible to focus and when I do, the image looks very soft and lacking in detail.Thanks for the comments all.
Jenny – your right, it was a rose, brain was obviously switched off when I was tagging the image.
Mark – it took quite a bit of practice to figure out how to focus with the filters attached. I put on manual focus and then move the lens back and forth to and from the subject while looking through the viewfinder until I got close, then steadied myself and tried to get the focus spot on.
