Hairy GusParticipant
Hi All,
I’am about to pop my photography cherry, This my first post on this site or actually on any site. I have always loved looking at Images, especially street photography but never got in to tacking them until last year and now I have fallen in love all over again. Pleas view and critique I would appreciate some honest feedback.

shutterbugParticipantVery nice set, the bicycle made for two is my favourite with the
red shoes running close second :)davedunneParticipantThe one with the guy on the scooter is pretty good.
I also like the one with the kid and the pigeons except I am not a fan of selective colouring. I have done this in the past myself when I first started shooting digital but I now see it as a bit of a gimmick. I’d like to see this in all BW. With the selective color the red coat is the subject but I think the expression on the face is more interesting.
Jonnyp16vParticipantHairy GusParticipantHi All
To Jenny, Dave and Jonny thanks for your kind words. Dave I tuck on bored what you said, I could’t get the B&W to work on it’s own my editing skills are limited (but growing) Photoshop takes a bit of getting use to, at one stage I nearly had to change my profile name to Hairless Gus as I wanted to pull it out.
I am going to attach the originally color and my edited B&W, If any one has any advice pleas post as advice is always welcomed…

connieParticipantLove the red shoes one. I also like the panning on the bike for 2 as it adds motion to the pic. I actually like selective colouring. But maybe thats because I am still relatively new to the world of photography. lol I think the colour one is nice. The black and white one is very flat. Have you tried googling actions for photoshop? There are loads out there and they are great until you find you feet. deviant art is a great place to get free ones all most of them ask is a credit in the photograph for using it. :)
Hairy GusParticipantY thank you very much Connie. The red shoes is my Favorited and also it was the last shot of the day. Bicycle Made For Two was pure luck I had taken around 30 panning shoots of bicycles that day and that was one of 3 that worked and by fare the most interesting. I will make it my business to look up actions for photoshop at some stage tonight. Thanks Again
To All Thanks For Viewing
