  Since I just joined I thought I’d throw up a few photos for critique – though I know this is an oft photographed locations I tried to get some slightly different images.

  Welcome to the site Walter, and a nice couple of shots to open with, I love
  the letterbox format, a much underused format in my opinion. I like both of
  them the first has the edge I think :) Keep them coming.

  Hi Walter,welcome and well done on some really nice shots. I agree with Shutterbug that these images really work well in the letterbox format. I wud have to say that no. 2 wud stand out a bit more for me but that is just my personal opinion. I really like the sun as it almost burst out from behind the 2 towers. Kepp shooting.

  Panoramic format (or letterbox as the experts are naming it :P ) are my favourite formats and your photos are using it with great success.
  The only comment I would have is to straighten them up a bit.

  Otherwise, great images!
