Anybody recommend a good monitor? – for photoshop as well as general PC purposes.
I’m think of getting something reasonably large – 24″ maybe as much as 30″ …
Just make sure it’s an IPS panel or better. You can tell from the specs if the viewing angle is quoted at 178 degrees both horizontal and vertical. Anything less than that, and it’s a crappy TN panel.
With an IPS montor you get 8 bit colour per channel as opposed to 6-bit with the cheaper panels, and don’t have to worry about the image going bright or dark when you sit higher or lower on your chair.
