It’s a good selection of documentary photographs that tell a story of the place and like
jodal1975 says the last 2 portrays a real sense of panic.
This is especially true of the second last image where everybody in it seems to be running
for cover.
I do think the photographs could have been technically better.
I find the focus in the first 3 a little soft and the verticals are converging in them all.
Of course this was obviously a highly pressurised situation and it must have been
difficult to operate at all.
I think Mark’s suggestion re B&W is worth exploring.
I’ve probably been too critical of photographs taken in a situation where many might
not have been able to work a camera at all.
I do think that 2nd last photograph is brilliant illustration in itself of what must have
been a very frightening situation.
