Dipper

Not a super sharp shot by any means but was delighted to see this little Dipper
busy feeding young I would say by the amount of times it was up and down the
river with beakfulls of grub!
Well done Jenny on getting a shot of her in flight. They can move really fast.
Not bad at all Jenny. Nice composition. Sign of a healthy river, these guys.
Keep an eye on where the dipper is going with the food and you can photograph the babies shortly
they are very quick I have tried to photograph one near us but its always gone as i realise its there :) but even so they wonderfull things to see
Thanks for all the comments, I had a good view up the river and could just
about see it (with my eyesight :shock: ) so I was ready and just kept firing
away as it came towards me. I will definitely go back and try again!They are lovely indeed, I’ve never seen Dippers as tame as the ones in Killarney national park. They will stand in the river maybe 10ft away from you :wink:
