Asylum Long Corridor & The Great Hall

The Long Corridor apparently was used to lead people from St. Kevin’s down to the Asylum Church and back again.
It was built specifically for this purpose. I felt that it had quite a strange feeling to it, narrow, very long and gloomy.

I think I have done with more variety of shots tbh. lots of windows :)

Very impressive building this, large open space. Not sure what it was used for really.
Used the 12mm of my wide angle for alot of these, so you’ll see the curve etc… I’ve not gotten around to straightening yet…

Really interesting shots Mark, I have enjoyed looking at them both yours and Jungles,
I would say the place was fully of atmosphere and your shots have really brought this
out. Do you know much of the history of the place? When was it closed and why seemingly
    abandoned?
