Haven`t been out to take photo`s in age`s now that the fishing has really kicked off….
any i have taken have been spur of the moment stuff just like this one :D
Taken at the end of a few hours fishing..taken handheld with cokin ND grad filter then given the HDR treatment(1 shot used 3 times)
comments welcome :)
The sky looks really interesting Dave but it looks like the image is lacking in contrast.

I like it, as Dave said the sky is great, but I would perhaps reduce the top
just a bit, there is just a little bit too much dark sky, I love the colours
almost pastel in effect and I think if you boosted contrast that would be
lost.Thanks for the replies folks and sorry i took so long :oops:
I had another look at the few shots i took that night and thought this one really suited a square crop…
this one is a single shot edited with Canon`s DPP
any opinions on this??
I much prefer the second non-HDR. I think it is a good illustration of why standard processing is better for most landscape photography (IMO).
Wow, what an improvement! The second version is excellent, the first looks unnatural and a bit washed out.
Lovely shot for me the second is far better it has far more faithfull colour pallete. Would love to see this one printed
