wedding prices

  Hi,

  I’ve been doing photography for the past few years as a hobby. I recently did a family wedding as a gift. At that wedding I was asked to do some more but Ive no idea how to price them. Can anyone help start me off. I also need a supplier of traditional photo albums, not the modern printed book types. Any advice would be appreciated such as taking deposits etc.

  Ceremony and reception 300 euros
  Prepration of the couple, Ceremony and reception 500 euros
  Whole day 750 euros
  reception and Party 300 euros

  And then you need to agree on the price of the album between 75 and 350 euros.

  These prices are taken from a friend of mine who only just started as well. If you are more experienced, prices go up, I presume.

  I would say them prices are a good starting point and then as you build up a nice portfolio for yourself you can increase your price. Wedding albums there is a few different suppliers if your going the traditional style route http://www.jmphoto.ie , http://www.italianweddingalbums.com Just remember to get insurance to just have that piece of mind.

  Best of luck, wedding photography can be stressful but to capture moments a couple will treasure forever is an amazing feeling.
