Hi Patricia, welcome to the site in case I havent already welcomed you!
I have been looking through your pictures and can see you love wildlife photography, I also love
to take pictures of birds and animals, two wonderful hobbies to combine, birdwatching and photography. If you are working mainly in your garden try to set up a feeding station close to a tree branch, or if there
is no tree available just fix a small twiggy branch up somewhere close to the feeder, you will find most
birds will wait their turn at the feeder and if the branch is available they will perch there until the feeder
is free, a great opportunity to get a more natural looking shot, as the feeders dont look the best.Watch out for your exposure also, some of your shots are dark and other quite bright, if you are not sure
of your camera settings yet it is handy to use “P” mode or “auto” and check the settings you will soon pick
up the optimum settings to use, then move on to aperture or shutter priority….baby steps, you will soon
get the hang of all the different settings.Keep posting, feedback can be slow sometimes, but dont give up!
PadraigParticipantPatricia,
If you have a passion for birds and wildlife your half way there with your photography. Like Jenny says, pay attention to exposure, background and focus. Keep posting and you’ll get plenty of constructive comments here. Welcome!Noely FParticipantCan only echo the thoughts of the above posters, bird feeders are a great way to practice your technique, it takes a while but you’re halfway there
already :D What camera are you using, not that it matters…you take the shots! but it might be easier for people to help if they knew what gear
you’re shooting with  I started exactly like you 5 years ago and I’m still learning!Patricia 1ParticipantHi All,
