looking for sharp vintage zoom lense

  im looking for something like 20mm-70mm zoom lense, fairly bright, and as sharp as possible. also could use some advise on wide angle primes.
  I want to use an adapter with my canon 400d

  interested in carl zeiss, pentax, takumar,
  would apriciate link to reviews…

  trying to get back to photography… :) and take bit creative approach
