there’s a few things about this:
– the sky isn’t dramatic enough and doesn’t add anything to the image. It’s also taking up too much space in the frame (you could probably get away with that much if there were thunder clounds rolling in or even a sunset)
– the people are too indistinct, and don’t really come across as the subject of the image.
Overall, i don’t think there’s enough subject in thisto carry it as an image. Sorry for being so down on it ;-)
Love the composition here you really used the rule of thirds in the image. however the image might benifit from a revisit with more flattering evening/morning light as it the light looks bland and it lacks that golden hour magic. I would also keep an eye on the sharpness of the image either use a tripod or make sure shutter speed is over say 1/400 sec otherwise the image can look “soft” . love the composition though and especially the positioning of the person in the frame
Thanks for the comments, i think the sharpness issue is down to poor nef processing on my part, might give it another look over when i get a chance, maybe crop it a bit too while i’m at it.
