Dublin on a Dull but dry day

    Still experimenting with my new Nikon 3100 – was messing around Saturday 20th August – let me know your opinions please:

    The strongest point of the pics are the diagonal lines.
    Compositionally the first pic is stronger.
    Human interest-wise the 3rd is stronger.
    Need maybe to work more on what’s interesting human being wise.

    Hi Tony,

    I still have my L plate. You never really lose it in this hobby.
    Henri Cartier Bresson – the best ever street photographer
    said his first 10,000 photos were no good.

    Like the vibrant colours in the first pic above. That whole Docklands
    area is good for street photography there’s markets outside the point
    on Saturdays, they have food festivals in the IFSC area and you have
    commuters crossing the bridges every day at lunch hours. If you plan
    your shots – with the right feature in the background, you could get
    some interesting shots.
