Lake at Bunratty

Taken on a Mamiya 645AF, this is a shot of the Lake at Bunratty Folk Park, Co. Limerick
I think this could be a great pic with the right light, it is a bit on the dark side
and needs a bit of a lift colourwise. :)Thanks Shutterbug. I have to say, I liked the muted colouring myself, I felt it gave it almost an Impressionist feel …
i see what you mean about the impressionist feel..but i too think it needs a bit of a lift light and colour wise…that blown out sky ( impossible to do anything about ..this is ireland ) is a real shame. i think cropping it just above the 2 central trees might be nice …give it a bit of symmetry with the reflections at the bottom (and get rid of some sky ) . REALLY lovely scene though. well done
Here’s a second version: levels adjusted slightly, cropped to remove the dark left and some of the sky, highlights adjusted too and warmed up slightly to boost the colours. Feedback?

definitely an improvement. lovely capture, if i wouldn’t see the cables i would say a romantic one :)
