Something a bit different for me.I’ve seen shots like this on here before,so I’d like to get a bit of feedback on these.
I know that there are people at the end of the pier in the second shot, but there wasn’t a lot I could do about that. :x
sirvadMemberHi Paul, if im honest with ya, i wouldnt be mad into them. I know from your other images that you are a great photographer so maybe its just i was expecting more out of them :) out of the 2 i wud go for the 2nd and i actually think its the 2 people at the end that give it the edge. but ya know what?, id could see these hanging on a wall in a nice frame in a Hotel or Bar. Good to see people come out of their comfort zones so well done and keep up the good work.
voicuParticipanti like both of them and i think that people at the end should be seen as a good thing rather than a bad one, without them the photo will be a small bit boring, a small bit like “seen this before”
westcoastMember5faytheParticipantHi Paul,
I tend to like this type of photograph and it isn’t that easy to do.
#1 for some reason dosen’t quite hit the spot.
Maybe it’s the composition.
All the elements seem to be there and it’s not a bad image.
I think there may be too much sky and I think maybe the signpost dosen’t fit.#2 is definitely a contender IMO.
I like the composition.
I think the people at the end of the pier add greatly to the picture.Well done,
John.
flynnyParticipantHi Folks ,
Thanks a million for the replies,
As I said at the start ,this is something that I wouldn’t normally try,
Having said that ,I am reasonably pleased with the results.
I’m well aware that this wouldn’t be everyone cup of tea,
The missus had a look at them the other day and reckoned that they were rubbish
Ah well back to rocks and water I guess.
Thanks again for the replies.voicuParticipantDeeboParticipantSecond shot for me Paul, the people add interest and scale.
First one needs a little rotation I think.
