Thank you both!! Stu, it was ISO:1600, 30s exposure, f/3.5 and was in my back garden!lol which is in duleek, county meath. It was a clear night with no moon!
I think “wow” just about covers all that needs to be said :)
It’s one of things I miss about living up the side of a hill in the middle of nowhere (well Wexford)…you can actually see the night sky properly. Always used to feel awed by it as a kid
