Smoke Study #1

  First attempt at a smoke shot. Used a candle as the smoke source side lit against a black background. Then used photoshop to invert and colour the smoke.

  Hi Stephen,

  I have never attempted anything like this but I understand there is a bit of work involved.

  You have produced a lovely image.
  Nice white background and a good composition.
  The shapes and colour are very nice.

  Well done Stephen, a nice clean image, good fun to do as well, I find
  a joss stick better than a candle as the smoke is there a lot longer and
  is a bit more manipulative.

  Yes Jenny, joss stick is much better and I can’t wait to try another smoke shot again with a more constant smoke source. I would definitely recommend using one as the candle was a real pain. It took me quite a while to get a shot with some good smoke.
