First attempts at some close ups.

Has anyone got any advice for me? i know there not great but i really want to learn so any advice would be fantastic. cheers.
Id say these are quite good for a first attempt, and I’m sure the “veterans” (u know who yas are) will agree. What setup were ya using ?
I picked up a Nikon D3000 a few weeks ago came with the standard 18-55mm. im just trying to get the hang of something that isnt a point and shoot.
Good shots David. #1 is my favourite from the set. The colours in these look over saturated IMO, but that’s just my opinion. Well done
good first attempt they just look a bit over processed but im no expert
I kinda thought the colors were a bit much myself. i used picasa’s “im feeling lucky” button for the shoots to give them some more life.
