    Hi folks,

Took this back in May during a windy day on Portmarnock beach.

My wife loved it enough to frame it but she’s a very loyal and biased critic.

    Would love some c&c please.

Also, this one is just of the beach but I’m quite fond of it.

    Cheers,

    Dave

Good pics Dave. Maybe crop the first by an inch or two of the top.

Really like the unusually focused 2nd shot – very moody.

Lovely depth of field in the 2nd image. Lovely deep blue in it. It seems like you “suffer” like most of us – slight lean of the horizon towards right :)

    Gerry, Dan,

    Thanks so much.

Yeah, I love that second one too. I see the “lean” too! :)

    Cheers,

    Dave

I think the 1st pic is great the crests of the waves really stand out.

Hi, The first looks a little overcooked to me. There is little or no detail left in the foreground rocks as a result. Nice composition but as I say a tad overcooked for me. I like the 2nd, nice aspect. All its missing is a crawling crab in that foreground.

    Thanks a lot, Ciaran.

RAS, I was looking at the picture in the frame today and had a similar thought myself.
Too easy to up the contrast in PS!
Would have loved a crab in #2. Might be better off using PS to add one in! ;)

    Cheers,

    Dave
