I am absolute sh*te when it comes to landscape or scenic type photos IMO. Here are 5 images from a recent spin up around Donegal, any C&C, tips, pointers, advice as to whether I should stay away from attempting this type of photography most gratefully appreciated.

    I like the fourth one.

Nice peaceful sea, with a lovely band of colour along the coastline with the saturation fading as you go back to the mountains.

Not normally one to comment too much but couldn’t not comment on these. Superb set of shots – I really like them. Each shot has something to offer and tones and composition on them all are excellent.

So to answer you question, definitely keep up this kind of photography!

Struggle!!! I love landscapes and like I said, each one of these shots is excellent to my eyes. If you have any more, please do post them up!

i like the lines that divide up the last one, and the green is very vibrant without looking un-natural.

As someone who knows even less than you about landscapes, I find these to be very good, but if I was to be critical, I would suggest using an object of some sort (a rock, tree etc) to add some foreground interest.

I know it’s very difficult to cater for every once taste, I would crop it into a more landscape photo:
