Volvo Ocean Race Game…..on again!

Just had an email inviting me to join the race again, even though I went across
country most of the time before, I think my sailing “skills” have improved enough
to give it another go, though I wont be sitting up through the night in case I go
off course but it was a bit of craic and with the long winter nights approaching
I have just signed up. My boat is Rustbucket and there is a “friendly” pre race
around the Balearics starting tomorrow.Anyone else game?

I joined up this morning as well :D , didn’t get any email though. I’ve no idea how this works Jenny so I might need a hand from time to time. Any helpful hints or tips would be great. :D :D My boat is call seaviewphotos. :lol: :lol:

PS, we had a great PI event :D :D the last time this race came to Galway, I’m looking forward to going again next Summer.
Janey mac Dave dont look for help from me :lol: I sunk more boats and even ended up
going the wrong way :shock: I was wondering why I had a clear run and was making great
time till I realised that I was getting further and further away from target :lol:It is good fun and can be quite addictive, the aim is to read the wind and conditions and
reach the target before everyone else. And you being a seafaring man should have no
problems, maybe bring your Kayak along for emergencies!!:lol: very apt name! Welcome aboard, I forgot it was starting this afternoon so

Mine was auto pilot all day but didn’t get far, :lol: I think it will be awful long race. Hopefully a few more will join up and we can have our own little race and meet at the finish in Galway. :D :D

:). The actual race itself when it gets going lasts for months. Its real time afaik so plenty of time for going off course,
hitting rocks and generally making a bags of it :DI like the idea of the Galway meet up !! :)

You must have passed me by while I was hanging over the side :lol: I sent Dave a
message that he was going the wrong way but he is still at it, must be too much
