took these at the camera club on wed night.There was a big crowd at the club so we didn’t get a lot of time to play around with light’s and pose the models differently.
I dont normally do portrait stuff so any hints and tips would welcome

Dont know much about this myself, the lighting looks nice in the first shot, and maybe
a little bit bright in the second, but my pick would be the black and white version!Now get back on board the amyjay and catch up! :lol:
I’m no expert in portrait photography but I find the models facial make up a little over done.
While her face is made up her arms & shoulders are pale in comparison!
If I can be blunt 1 & 2 look smutty & 3 is over exposed but it has potential.
But again these are only my opinions.Well considering that you had no control over the model, her make-up or I guess the props etc… I think you did quite well.
The last one would be nice favourite. Nice and hi-key.
