Recommend PHotography Holidays?

  Hi – I am looking to book a photography holiday for the Spring of 2012, would like somewhere North so Iceland, Canada and northern europe would all be possible locations. Have been searching online and so many companies offering photography holidays I was just wondering if anyone knows of one which they would recommend? I will be travelling on my own and hoping to learn something and improve my (currently amateur) skills so I’d want to be sure they are a secure company who will provide knowledgeable guide(s) for the holiday. Let me know if anyone has any recommendations because all the holiday adverts, naturally enough, say they’re all just wonderful! :|

  Peter Cox a site member here runs photography courses in iceland it would be a great course I think and a holiday at the same time

  You could also check with Pixelle as I know she’s gone to Iceland a couple of times.

  Peter’s booked out for his July course in Iceland but may have spaces left for his late Sept trip. I’ve done a couple of courses here in Ireland with Peter as tutor and highly recommend him.

  I know that it isn’t a holiday but last October did a weekend with Mike Brown and it was just fantastic. I had a great weekend and Mike is a great to work with and learn from and generous with his time and knowledge. As far as I know Mike does take photography holiday/trips to Norway as well. Something worth considering.

  Btw, Mike has just published his workshops for 2012. Norway is included plus 5-day Irish based photo holidays.
