Highland Cattle

Three color gum print of some Highland Cattle from a journey to Scotland some years ago. Shot on expired 35mm AGFA HDC.
I’m surprised you haven’t had any comments (positive or negative) on this yet. It’s possibly not to everyone’s taste but personally I like this painterly effect, all the more so because it’s not photoshopped. The subject matter seems to suit this style of processing as well. As for critique, I wonder if it might have looked even better if the cattle were not quite so central? But then you may have had to lose the lead in line of those tracks.

taken from a newspaper, nice and grainy…..and I love Highland Cattle :)
