Color spaces/sRGB monitors

    Hi,

Getting new monitors which has full coverage of the sRGB color space.
My current workflow is shoot in the Adobe RGB color space, do all processing in Adobe RGB color space and only convert to sRGB on export for the web.

Just wondering, does it make it sense to use Adobe RGB in my workflow if I can only see sRGB on my monitors and printing uses a CMYK color model?

Should I just use sRGB all the way through my workflow if it is all I am very going to see?

    Thanks

old augment that will go on for century’s between sRGB and RGB

My work flow is Adobe RGB on camrea, import RAW and work in ProPhotoRGB, if i am printing to LAB or WEB then i convert to sRGB, if that makes sense.

having RGB has a wider color guide, so you can get a pro prints done using this profile

Iophotoprint and dpi360 would help you out here

your printer actually expects a RGB input not cmyk, even though it used cmyk inkset

and your printer can handle way more than sRGB colour spectrum

a monitor that shows the whole of sRGB is actually the norm, most monitors will show all of it

what you really want is a monitor that shows much closer to adobeRGB. the latest epson printers can print all of adobeRGB
