Finally tracked this wee beauty down yesterday after scouring the coast for the previous four days looking for it. Best of it was in one day I walked near ten miles looking for it and yesterday I walked five minutes round the corner from my house and there she was feeding right on the shore line at high tide.
Poor light, gale force winds, hand held and trying to keep my balance on a very loose shingle beach made conditions quite difficult but sure that’s half the fun of this aul game.
Great set of images, very well taken considering the conditions, well done.
Thanks, Paul. I’m really happy with these shots and I have some more to work through so maybe will get a some more decent shots. It’s been a great years birding for myself. Hope the new year proves even more fruitful.
