  Wasn’t much insect life around today, but managed a couple anyway to get me started for 2012. :D

  Same to you miki :) thats an unusual little fella in the second shot? I had a
  bumble bee in the garden yesterday it has been that mild, I hope it doesnt
  suddenly turn cold.

  The little guy in #2 is a globular springtail. Cute little guys. I was a bit surprised to find flies still about, but since we haven’t been hit by a cold spell, I guess this is to be expected. I have heard of other Bumble bees & even Butterflies been seen lately & I even found more bug eggs today.
  Looks like the seasons are getting messed up. :shock:
