Conor Pass Sunrise

I haven’t posted anything in PI for ages. I’ll have to make more of an effort in 2012.

Here’s one from the Conor Pass in Kerry in August.

    Thanks

Very nice scene Mark, lovely blues and greens, quite vivid but I like the
punchiness of it, after days of grey skies it is really nice to see some
    real colour.

I like it Mark, love the reflections in the pater noster lakes. Climbed Mt Brandon a few times and each time had no visibility…now I see what lay below!

nice shot…your so lucky to get blue skies…i live in sligo and we very rarely get them …even in the summer :(…..as jenny said, good , vibrant colours. although i do think you could tone down the reflections …they dont look natural because of the extra saturation and contrast tweaks

Thanks for the comments Jenny, Mike & Jodal. I was thinking this image was a bit over saturated even though there is no saturation adjustment made. Vibrance was set at +25 but I think it’s the contrast adjustment I made that has increased the saturation.

Such a nice Irish landscape, if I may say so. Apart from vivid greens and blues, the stone clad fences are quite representative for the west coast. I am also among the unlucky ones, the last and only time I’ve been up there, I couldn’t even stand because of the wind, so no possibility to come back with a photographic memory.

    Very nice image Mark.
