23-24 inch IPS Monitors Recommendations
-
darraghParticipant
Hi,
I have been trying to get my hands on a few LG IPS2131P monitors for a while but they seem to be hard to come by.
Has anybody got any other recommendations for a good IPS monitor 23-24 inch wide?I only care about color accuracy, I don’t care how good the response time is, etc.
Thanks

:-)but nobody want to answer me where can i buy it in IRL :-)
SeaviewParticipantI’m after one also, so I will be keeping an eye on this thread.
Dave.
darraghParticipantI was looking in the under €300 price range, if I had the money, I’d buy the top of the line NEC monitors but I don’t have the money and I want 3 monitors to replace my old CRT setup
johnnycorcoranParticipantThe more money you pay for the Monitors the better colour you will get… I always get a good top monitors rather than buying an expensive computer….
SO far I LOVE my MultiSync LCD 2690WUXI2.
Its perfect as it up against the wall, and my Macbook Pro underneath it.. So Im using two screen with one mouse. Also perfect for lightroom as thumbnails pixs on the laptop and bigger photo on the LCD. What more can I ask!? :-D
stcstcMemberbe very careful using a 2 monitor setup, particularly on a laptop
most graphics cards cant use to LUTs and will default to the internal screen for LUT on a laptop
on a desktop its a little easier and you can just stick 3 cards in the machine

darraghParticipantHi,
The monitors will be for my desktop machine, it currently has 2 x 19″ CRT attached to 2 different graphics cards, so I can assign profiles to each head (card+monitor).
The IPS panels will be replacing my CRTs which are getting very old and are very bulky but have been very accurate when I have been printing on my setup. Thanks
DarraghdarraghParticipantHi,
Has anybody got any experience with the Dell U2412H or the U2410?
The U2410 is €200 more expensive than the U2141H and not sure if it is work the extra €200 especially when I am buying 3 of them. Thanks
DarraghBarkerPhotographicParticipantWe sell Eizo and NEC monitors – So easy on the eyes! We would be happy to quote anybody interested in either Brand.
darraghParticipantHi,
Have decided to go with Dell U2312HM monitors as I can’t seem to get LG IPS231P monitors.
It got a pretty good review on tftcentral – http://www.tftcentral.co.uk/reviews/dell_u2312hm.htm” onclick=”window.open(this.href);return false; with a calibrated dE of 0.3, not quite as good as some of NEC monitors which have a dE of 0.2 but for €171, it nearly half the price of the equivalent monitorsRegards
DarraghBallymanParticipantdarraghParticipantBallyman,
They are €171 ex vat on the Dell website at the moment
