Okey, think I have got the hang of it. Hopefully… :)

Any advice appreciated, as I really am only like a deer on ice with photography at this stage. Thanks :) :)

These are not bad at all. Your compositions are nice in all of them. My preference is in the way you have them posted with the first being really nice and the 2nd having a real alternative twist on the composition. On the 2nd I would have the far building hitting the bottom corner rather than half an inch up. I might also pump the saturation a little just to make it pop a little as the lighting is a bit flat (not much you can do about that :-) The third is underexposed but the human interest and wave save the shot. The 4th im not too pushed on. Too much sky and the chimneys are leaning in.

    Nice start

Ah, thanks a lot. It’s good to get constructive criticism that isn’t too harsh.
The buildings one I actually had the saturation up a bit and I thought any more would’ve been too much, but you’re definitely right with the far building not going into the corner.

    Anyways, thanks a lot :)

probably over processed but the buildingsw have a little more punch to them and the sky has gone from that yellow to a white, lifting the buildings a little……not sure where the bird came from but you get where i am coming from :-)
