some bokeh

  I saw this in Digital SLR and I thaught that I would give it a try, your C&C would be greatly appreciated.

  both lovely composed shots and good lighting, would like more lighting on the face in the second one

  Very nice, l think though the second would work better with just a bit cropped off
  the right side, or maybe if there was a bit more on the left it would balance it better,
  but two very nice shots, a little reflector would have sorted the “dark” side of the
  face in the second shot.

  Thanks for your comments. I really need to keep checking on the need to add in a reflector and to check my composition as my photoshoots are underway.

  Oh, I love them both. Beauifull expressions on both little faces :)

  How did u do that bokeh? Id love to try it myself :)

  It was actually quite easy, the background was a black sheet, with a set of christmas lights clipped on with cloths pegs. Keep Model as far a possible from the background, my girls were about 10 feet (at least) then shoot away
