I seem to never have time these days to get out, even tho i`ve got more than i`ve ever had :?
Here`s one from a couple of weeks ago.
comments welcome.fguihenParticipantlovely texture, pin sharp, great sky contrast and nice composition. i like this mage!
I would like if the lake wasnt cut off in the left but thats only a minor complaint.texMemberIn my opinion the main point of focus here is the tree and for that reason I feel that you have far too much foreground in your picture which distracts from the main event. Otherwise your photo is very good if a little cold.
donalglackinParticipantvery nice shot, would agree with fguihen though a bit more of the scene to the left would be nice.
RASMITH32MemberNice shot , a couple of things stand out for me. I would have tried to get a bit higher such that the smaller distant tree could have been isolated from the land behind it. You would have had a nice leading line running from the forground tree to the distant one which would have balanced the shot nicely. Seems to be some bright haloing around the foreground tree. Not sur eif thi sis related to the processing or if it was just the lighting on the day?, Its hard to know sometimes but even when it is natural it can still be distracting.
That all sounds negative but I do like the shots love the lines and the B&W conversion has dealth nicely with the flat light

The lake is actually Strangford Lough and nearly surrounds the island so its impossible to not cut if off..
I no what you mean tho :wink:tex wrote:

Thanks for commenting tex :)
The tree is the main POF but i wanted to include the wee track that leads up to it then splits either side..donalglackin wrote:

I hadn`t noticed that with the distant tree!! Now you`ve pointed it out i no just what you mean…
I think another visit is called for  The light was quite poor that day…
I knew there was a bit of haloing but i didn`t think it stood out that much!!
