Carrigaphooca Castle just located outside Macroom, Met the farmer to see if we could get access to go inside, but he misplaced the key  , somehow i dont think so, place was a bloody mess, cow dung everywhere, but managed to get some shots in.
Carrigaphooca Castle, Co. Cork by phillipcullinane, on FlickrmwallParticipantI like this Phillip, great sky, there’s an ‘after the battle’ mood about it,
MikeSteveDParticipanttoneaghMemberPhilip If u do not want cow shite on ur shoes, best for you stay in the town of Bandon. What do u expect to see in a field only cow shite ,or what did u really expect theer green mown lawns and cut hedges and shoe covers to keep ur shing shoes clean.
RASMITH32MemberNice composition and good sky, think Steve already noted my only issue with the shot , dodging on the castle. Sometimes a screen blend overlay at a reduced opacity and all else layer masked out can give you what you need without getting that furry look for over use of the dodge tool

you ok in the head, just that the place was a mess as in the farmers yard, foul smell, unhygienic, no sign of a slurry pit, everything was drained into the field. i do expect people to respect the environment and i did take off my shinny shoes and a pair of wellies, now keep yourself clam nobody likes a big mouth and we are all here to share and learn, not abuse
keep safe

toneaghMemberYes and I ask you to respect the farmer for allowing you into his property, after all it is his land and I dont think you would be too happy if that farmer went taking pictures in ur back Garden.???
phillipMemberits public property, not the farmers, please get the facts right and less tone, i would have no problem if it was my land so people could have access, it a small distance away and cant be seen from the farm

toneagh…do you like the photo or not ?? thats the reason it was put up here…not for you to go on an eco rant about the farmer and his
field etc…we all enter farm lands to get our shots at some time or another and I think its a bit rich out of someone who more or less
has only signed up to start slagging off like you have here.Anyway the photo is nice but as others have said , its too heavily processed around the fort.
Noel.
phillipMemberthanks for the feed back on the photo, i have had another go at processing and took your feed back into account, many thanks

DeeboParticipantI like it Philip and agree with SteveD. some less doding to bring it down a tone will work
It would be good to get into the fort, so worth trying again
DeeBMParticipantI think the b&w sets the mood very well, Philip.
Didn’t we have a thread – what’s in your bag? – maybe we need to add welly boots …
