Panoramic of Glendalough Lakes

    Glendalough Lakes

    A Panoramic shot I took of the Glendalough Lakes during the summer, think it was a 4 shot stitch from what i can remember.
    Granted could have done with an ND filter which im soon to invest in (Cokin P series filters), but I didn’t think it was too bad for a handheld shot! :D

    nice picture can surely be improved with different sky/sunset but still a nice image as it is

    Not a bad shot but there are a couple of problems that i see as follows…

    1. The leading lines of the pebbles on the right and the light on the water leading to the valley compete for the viewers attention leaving an unbalanced feel to the image

    2. light creeping over the hill on the left

    On a more positive note, I like the detail in the lake bed in he foreground and you have captured an alternative composition to a much taken shot which is refreshing
