    Are you ‘suggesting’ that your images were used without your permission or
    are you ‘looking’ to see if they were used without your permission?

    i remember a while ago a search engine, where you could upload the meta data of a shot and it would seek the image, but was an asian website. and i presume it only works if the image had not been stripped of its data, or processed using a program that omits the data.

    hope this helps

    You could try http://www.tineye.com/” onclick=”window.open(this.href);return false;

    You link it to an image or upload one, and it searches for images that match it. How it does it, I don’t know. I think it’s some form of black magic involving sacrificing Zeiss glass.

    Hi
    I was looking to see if any of my flickr images were being used on any websites other than flickr. I used tineye with limited success. Thankyou all for your help in this matter. Its just nice to know that your work is wanted even though they wont pay for it in the first place.
    Kind regards
    Patrick. :D

    I like to do the opposite and enjoy sharing my images on Flickr and the web, I have most of them set up on commons as “non commercial share alike”, I like to see where they are used and the quality of the sites they are used on, I almost always find them to be of good quality and I am always credited back to Flickr or to my website. I especially like when bloggers use the images as part of their stories, this I would like to happen more. The other positive from this sharing is that I get an increased the number of hits on my Flickr. :D
