Taken at Donabate beach on a very cold and windy morning. Not too sure if the composition works as normally when i take these kind of shots i go for a lot more sky and have the lense zoomed out to its full width of my 15mm (this was taken at 46mm). Looking at the photo again I am wondering if it would work better without the foreground interest of the rock!

Any C&C would be greatly appreciated!

I like the photo as it is. That rock in the foreground seems to echo the large lit area in the sky and gives balance to your photo. However your horizon line seems incredibly sharp and looks as if it was almost manufactured. But it is still a warm picture and one that you should be happy with.

    The rock work’s.

It’s the rock which is causing all the ripples in the sand as the tide tries to drag it out. i like the simplicity and the colours.
