BEACHED ROCK texMember February 2, 2012 at 11:02 pm Taken in a field in Connemara using my Olympus OM 2n +24mm lens and Kodak HIE B&W Film. Printed on Ilford MG IV Fibre paper. connieParticipant February 3, 2012 at 9:44 pm Looking at this, the rock looks like a cartoonish dinosaur looking straight at me lol texMember February 3, 2012 at 9:56 pm Thanks Connie, to me it reminds me of photos that I’ve seen of beached whales hence my title. Cheers Vincent connieParticipant February 3, 2012 at 10:45 pm I love shots like these, we all see something different. Should have also said I like the way the B&W has been processed. bigalguitarpickerParticipant February 3, 2012 at 10:58 pm Looks good. I’ve thought from time to time of trying Infrared film, but never got round to it. I usually use my DSLR with a Hoya R72 filter. DPSParticipant February 4, 2012 at 4:09 pm ive used near IR film like SFX 200, much easier to handle than the “real” stuff, must say that HIE produces an amazing grain, that just cant be matched. Great image. texMember February 4, 2012 at 11:49 pm Thanks for your comments folks. I would like to see the results you got with SFX 200 Sinead. Cheers Vincent pelagicMember February 5, 2012 at 12:26 am Connie saw one thing.
