Here’s my take on the well photographed old pier in Fahan, Inishowen, Co. Donegal. Which one is better – colour or B&W

usually i would say that b+w suits that style of shot…but i think in this case that the colour one does it for me …lovely shot by the way!…nice long exposure
I’d go for the colour version, the colours are soft but they still work for me.

Personally i prefer the black and white seems to show the pier in more dept. But both of them to be honest are unreal. One day ill be able to take a photo like that think ill be waiting a long long time though. ;) well done
i like the B&W, i would use a square crop and cut off the top, showing only the pier IMO
Great long exposure, really nice composition. I maybe would have put a GND filter on to darken the sky slightly, make it more moody but that’s a personal preference really. I like both, very well captured!
