Two buskers, very different styles, on Grafton street today. All C&C appreciated.

Really like the first one but it’s a pity about the guy just standing there!

    Thanks guys.

Im still bothered by the distraction caused by the guy standing in the background in the 1st photo, and the girl in the white jacket in the 2nd photo. I guess that just street photography, you can only control so much of the shot.

Two great shots…the guy standing there wouldn’t bother me if his head wasn’t cropped…he is there for a reason and I think adds to the shot…
    he’s listening to the busker.

There was a piece on Nationwide about a year ago on the chap with the piano…he lives at home and his father transports the piano in a van each day in and out for his son…apparently he is making quiet a nice living from busking there.

Like both shots. Wud be interesting to see both cropped.
As in zoom in on the faces of the both buskers and in the dog
the strongest part of the images. The blurred faces and legs
of bystanders would provide enough context.

two great shots, I think the background people add to the mood of the image.
I remember my college days in Dublin in the 80’s stopping and listening to any busker who would brave it, and they would have one eye out for the gardai who would hunt them away.
I like them as they are,

I like the guy with no head in the first shot – though I would like to see all his head. I think he adds to the shot as an interested spectator but out of focus enough not to distract you. I’m more distracted by the half woman and handbag on the right – crop here please. The B&W conversion is spot on.
The second shot is meh to me. I’d rather he was looking at his piano or had his eyes closed. His gaze has me wondering what is more interesting outside the frame. Again, a very nice B&W conversion.
