Camera Insurance

So do many here insure their camera gear and if so, who are you using?
Iv been onto camerainsurance.ie and due to some mitigating circumstances (i like to bring my camera swimming) they want over €320/year, just seems a little over the top. Can anyone recommend anyone else?

That’s who I use, and I find them brilliant. Being a broker, they shop around for the best price they can get you, for your requirements.
Other than that, you would have to look at UK insurers, like Towergate or Aaduki.
Yeah them seemed real nice to deal with, initialy it was around the 170 mark which I was delighted with, but I think when they went back to which ever company that was and explained Id be taking it in the water they didnt want to know.
