Very creative piece of art work. Cute little guy and well taken.
Normally I’m not into heavily altered photos. But you’ve started with a dream image in your mind and just happened to have used a photo as part of your creation. Well done.
IMO i think either the child or the scene should be a little out of focus, just to create some separation.

Thought the reduced opacity of the child had done that and created the vision of a reflection……….but maybe some slight blurring in addition might add something. Will give it a go
