Spent Easter in Mayo with the family. These are some of my favs. All hand held and converted in LR3.
C&C of course welcome.
This is on Old Head beach, heading along the beach we came across this old twisted piece of driftwood with amazing texture and depth. I got some detail shots too, but I like to see it in its environment. Its wedged in there well and will be for some time I suspect.
Lousiburgh, a short walk from the cottages brings you to the little beach where the Bunowen river meets the ocean (the dark water in the foreground is the bog darkened river water). Darragh is deciding whether the shower is coming or going.
We took a spin over to Galway to Kylemore Abbey. This is one of the little lakes on the way to the walled garden.
Thanks Mike, there were 20 of us revisiting where we used to holiday as kids. So yes, we had a great time, and I managed to satisfiy my photo lust while out on hikes etc.
Its a stunning part of Ireland and surprisingly unspoilt.
I have an uncle Michael, as a result I keep thinking of you as an elderly priest :D I’ll stop now that Ive said it!
