World Pinhole Photography Day 29th April 2012
-
EddieParticipant
Anyone make any efforts with Pinhole cameras for World Pinhole Photography Day. I took some images at Lough Ennel with Acros100 on the Holga 120 WPC and some colour on a Pentacon Six and a Zone Plate with colour 100asa Kodak Ektar. Light was good so hopefully got a few images. Anyone else venture out. Mark had it up on the events forum.
SeoirseMemberYes, Eddie.
I managed to get out for an hour or so just before the weather got really wet and wild.
Got some nice images I think out at Tower Bay in Portrane.
Used a DIY 5×4 pinholoe camera and Fomapan 100.
Tried to process them when I got home but found I was out of Rodinal… :( .
EddieParticipantLook forward to seeing them George. Peter might have some Rodinal in stock.

I sure do, and plenty of it too.
EddieParticipantMy efforts for WPPD 2012, the same scene, first is with Holga 120 WPC, this is only decent shot from the roll of Acros 100. The WPC has an F-stop of approx f135. The second is a Zone Plate image F65 on Kodak Ektar 100, Zone Plate was attached to a old Pentacon Six. Most of the images with this combination worked. The location is Lough Ennel.
thefizzParticipantdamien.murphyParticipantFirst shot is really beautiful Eddie, has a real dreamlike quality! I imagine it makes a lovely print
MarkKeymasterSeoirseMemberHi folks, sorry for resurrecting this post after such a long time but I had forgotten to get back with the images I took on WPPD 2012.
These are from Tower Bay in Portrane, Co Dublin. A place I hadn’t been to in a very long time. The weather was cold, windy and rainy and the exposures were all about 4 mins 30 seconds or so using a 5×4 DIY pinhole camera that I made last year.
DIY 5×4 camera made from IKEA plantar box (cut to 45mm focal length)
0.3mm pinhole from brass sheet set in a circular office door escutcheon
Film was Fomapan 100 rated at 50iso and developed 1:100 in Rodinal for 30 minutes with a couple of swirls at 15 minutes (semi-stand)
Exposure time 4mins:30 seconds each
Tripod: Berlebach Report 3032 wooden tripodHope you like them.

Thanks very much for your kind comments. I’m glad you like them.
I may post some more in the lo-fi section if that’s ok?
