    I bought a bellows about 2 years ago but have not really used it much so I took it out along with my Tamron 90mm macro and took these.

    This is the subject taken with my phone

    This is with the 90mm Macro lens

    and this is with the bellows

    Quite a difference, did you find it easier to focus with the bellows?
    I was looking at getting one, but wondered if it would be another gadget
    to sit in box with all the other gadgets :lol:

    Hi Jenny,

    It takes a bit of getting used to. First of all because you will have no autofocusing you need to use it with a lens which has a manual aperture ring. Otherwise the lens will auto stop down to f22 so its impossible to see if you have focused correctly. I use my Nikon 50mm 1.8 at 1.8 until I am happy with focus and then I stop it down to f22. Even at this the DOF is minimal.

    i don’t have a ring flash so I had to experiment a lot with exposure to get it right.

    Heres my first attempts with it when I bought it. i am quite happy with them. http://www.skramshots.com/what-am-i” onclick=”window.open(this.href);return false;
