Hey folks, my name is Adam Porter and I’m from Buncrana, Inishowen, Co. Donegal. :) I’m the current chairman of the Buncrana Camera Club. I run a wee computer repair business and a wee photographic printing business. I’ve been really into my photography since 2008 when I built a website for a local professional photographer and he gave me his old Canon D60 and a 17-35mm f2.8 sigma zoom lens, I still have both, but don’t use the D60 that often (hoping to convert it to an IR camera in the near future). The old sigma lens I use all the time on a Canon 550D, the AF is bust so it’s manual only but is grand :) Just got a 5D mk ii there and managed to whack it from 6 feet in the air off the floor at the end of last weeks camera club meeting and then getting it drenched in torrential rain on friday night whilst getting a camping trip time lapse :) it’s still working thank god! Looking forward to sharing, participating and learning with everyone :)

:lol: lol John, I’m so so careful normally but 2 events in a week have scared the bejaysus out of me! It’s been an age since something like that happened, hurricane winds on Malin Head last year toppled me and the camera over and a few slips on precarious rocks over the years… I shall have to re-learn! :)Hi Adam,
