Thought I share some photos of our dogs :) we own 3 Irish Setters and 2 Red and White Setters
I’ve been trying some low key photography these last few days with natural light
I saw the first two on boards, and thought they were lovely, gorgeous
doggies too.nice shots, particularly 1, 2 and 3. do you go sledding in ireland? surely theres not enough snow here… looks like great fun! was it hard to train the dogs?

Yes and we use 3 or 4 wheeled training carts/rigs designed for dryland mushing. If the dogs has a natural desire to run and pull then the training is alot easier. Commands are taught while out walking or jogging with the dog before connect to the rig. We went to Sweden in February for some sled training with the dogs. Thanks for the comments about the photos I’m an amateur trying to improve my low light photography for sleddog sports. Buying a Nikon 70-200 VR11 this week so excited about that :)
brilliant! working dogs are happy dogs!
id say the new lens will be a great help for the outdoor action shots and its always exhilarating playing with a new toy! have fun!
