2 Important lessons learnt from Zoo trip

Went to Belfast zoo today and learnt 2 valuable lessons.
Don’t bother looking to photograph animals on a really hot day, they have the sense to stay in the cool, i.e. inside their enclosures.
Also, 400mm (on a cropped sensor) is too long!Not a total waste though as the chimps had a good scrap for 20 minutes or so. The sight of one chimp collecting corn on the cob and throwing it at another, was worth the entrance fee :lol:
